Story title: A Home Is Where
A real estate agent met a very modern woman, who had grown up in a big city. He tried to interest her in buying a new home.
"A home!" she snapped."Why do I need a home? I was born in a hospital, grew up in boarding schools, was educated in a college, did my company keeping in automobiles, and was married in a church.
"I live out of paper bags from fast food places, spend my mornings visiting other people, and my afternoons and evenings in front of the television. When I die, they will bury me out of the funeral parlor.
"What do I need a home for? All I need is garage for my car."
Someone had said that home is where the heart is. I wonder where hers was.
